Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Core Audit (“the app”, “we”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. Description of Service

Core Audit is a tool for creating and managing audit and inspection projects, including:

• projects and issues
• photos, annotations, and reports
• optional cloud synchronization and storage

The app may be provided as a local-first experience with optional cloud features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate information
• keep your login credentials secure
• be responsible for all activity under your account

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Core Audit may offer optional paid subscriptions that provide access to premium features (“Subscription”).

Subscriptions are processed through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.

Subscription Details

• Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or annual basis
• The price of each subscription is displayed in the app at the time of purchase
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Managing Subscriptions

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings
• After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period

Free Trials (if applicable)

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment details and cannot issue refunds directly.

6. User Content

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and synchronize your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the app.

7. Cloud Services

If you enable cloud features, your data may be stored on remote servers and synchronization may occur between your devices.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that:

• cloud services may experience interruptions
• data transmission over the internet is not completely secure

8. Data Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data. We are not responsible for:

• loss of data
• corrupted files
• sync conflicts or inconsistencies

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the app for unlawful purposes
• upload malicious or harmful content
• attempt to disrupt or interfere with the app or its infrastructure
• reverse engineer or misuse the service

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the app at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Core Audit is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We are not liable for:

• indirect or consequential damages
• loss of data
• business interruptions
• loss of profits

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, the service will be uninterrupted, or all defects will be corrected.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
